At the point of product creation, a default price is inserted onto the master price list. The master price list is the source for wholesale, store and home shopping channel price lists. Rules engine is available to modify, build and manipulate price lists by channel, geography and time period, including markdown tools, margin analysis and historical price information. Price lists support multi-currency, multi-geography and multi-tax regimes. Any price list variations can be easily created and managed by territory, currency, market, or down to color level. Any number of pricelists can be generated and issued to stores or other channels. Furthermore, multiple price lists can be active at a given store/channel at the same time, e.g. special promotional price lists for preferred customers etc.
Promotions can be maintained centrally across all channels and can be set to become active at any location or channel at a predetermined date and time.
